The result of a merger between the CSCE (Senegalese Centre of Foreign Commerce and Dakar's Society of International Trade Fairs (SOFIDAK), which became official on 4 July 1986, the CICES is a government limited company for commerce in charge of promoting the commercial expansion of Senegal, operating the exhibition parks and managing the Convention Centre. Owing to a partial renovation of exterior areas and the exposition halls, the CICES site will become one of Fesman’s hub centres by accommodating the Festival’s central PC system as well as several in and off exhibitions. |
