Conservation and Promotion of the Cultural Heritage and the Memory of Africa and her Diasporas
As a land of ancient civilizations, Africa has produced a rich cultural heritage.

This fabulous legacy, an undeniable testimony of the Black continent’s historical vitality, includes the first relics of mankind as well as several architectonic, artistic and intellectual works of great value.

Conscious of the importance of this heritage, the Black world has invariably paid particular attention to its conservation and promotion.

African Renaissance will naturally consider this valuable heritage as part of its historical and anthropological foundations.

The programmes selected are geared to the formulation of new types of social partnership and international cooperation, within the framework of the restoration, conservation, management and promotion of Africa’s cultural assets.
